Description
For our sixt release, we’re proud to collaborate with consolation wines. Their grapes were sourced from the very best vines, picked at perfect ripeness and health. Limited yield and hand-crafted with respect for nature, terroir and year.
This experimental “orange” wine was made by doing 16 hours of pre-fermentation skin- contact on all the grapes, and was pressed old school, with hands and feet. After fermentation it aged on Roussanne lees for 12 months, resulting in a funky, almost Sherry-like wine. It has flavours of quince, pear, cut apples, nuts, bread and a crisp mineral acidity.
